We are always in desperate need of the following:
- Women’s Clothing, Men’s Clothing, Children’s Clothing, Footwear, Handbags, Ties and Belts
- Books, CDs, DVDs, Vinyl Records, Videos, Pictures and Frames, Jigsaws and Games
- Toys, Household Goods, Bed Linen, Curtains, Bric-a-Brac
Please note: At present we cannot take any electrical goods.
All donations of good quality items are sold in our shop to raise funds for the many dogs in our care. The more money we raise the more dogs we can save.

Visit Our Shelter

We welcome all guests to Birch Hill Dog Rescue, but we ask that shelter visits are made by appointment only.
Our priority is always the comfort and safety of the dogs in our care and booking ahead helps us avoid overcrowding and maintain a calm, low-stress environment for our dogs. It also means we can plan properly to give you our full, undivided attention, with time set aside to answer questions and guide you around.
To arrange a visit, simply give us a call, send us an email or if you’re hoping to adopt, please submit an adoption form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
