Barney came into our care from the pound. He is a very sweet and friendly boy who likes a fuss.
Barney’s very inquisitive and spends most of his time in his kennel on tip toe peeping at the other residents. He’s been very friendly towards all the other dogs he’s met so he could potentially live with another suitable dog with correct introductions.
Although friendly, Barney can be a little bouncy so we’re looking for a home with children aged 13+.
When in our orchard, we have noticed that Barney does occasionally eye up the fence as well as investigate areas near the bottom of the fence to dig so he will need a very secure garden. When not plotting a potential escape, Barney loves to run around and play. He’s a really lovely young boy.

We Start the Search
With your details in hand, we’ll start matching you with the dogs in our care. You don’t need to do anything else – we’ll get in touch as soon as we find a potential match.
Step 3
Meet Your New Best Friend
If we’ve found a dog that seems right for you, we’ll invite you to meet them. Some pups may need a few visits to feel comfortable, but all of this helps us make sure it’s a good fit.
Step 4
Reserve Your Pup
Ready to make it official? We’ll guide you through all the paperwork and reserve your four-legged friend while you get everything set for their arrival.
Step 5
Take Them Home
Once all the necessary checks are completed, you’ll take your new pup home for your one-month adoption trial.
Step 6
Not the Right Fit? No Problem
If life takes a turn or things don’t click, we’ll always welcome our dogs back with open arms and zero judgement – whether it’s during the trial period or after.
