Dogs Needing Homes
Meet our friendly bunch of dogs at Birch Hill Dog Rescue Centre in South Shropshire that are currently looking for a new, loving home.
We always need volunteers to help with fundraising. If you think you have a few hours to spare and would like to help at outdoor events, street collections or bag packing then we’d like to hear from you.
The dogs in rescue rely on volunteers to take them for a walk. If you have a few hours to spare and would love to take an unwanted dog for a walk then please contact us.
If you live locally and think you may be the volunteer we are looking for, then please give us a call.
Reviews & Comments
Can honestly say Birch Hill is the only dogs home charity I support after see the outstanding work they do for the dogs. The staff/volunteers are amazing, nothing is too big or too small in regards to the care of the dogs and without a doubt the dogs needs are always put first!
My partner and i rescued a beautiful staffie called tai from birchill back in febuary, when we rehomed him he had two operations on his knee to fix his luxtating patella, we took him on a week after his second op to continue his rehab in his new home!! They were very supportive and helpful to us and also offered to pay for any problems with his knee at the vets.
Birch Hill Rescue kennels certainly put the dogs first. Whatever it takes these kennels will do what they can, the dogs well-being are their priority. I have just held my 'Hen party' to provide much needed help for the day and would certainly encourage help and involvement. Its lovely to see the dogs are cared for and I encourage those looking for a rescue dog to keep in touch with Birch Hill Dog rescue.
Cookie was rehomed my mum some time ago. He may have been the last dog Jutta rehomed she was ill the day we 1st met Cookie & in hospital when mum collected him. He had his problems but is absolutely gorgeous & happy now. Jutta was spot on about the mum Cookie needed. Wish she could see him now. He loves life especially shopping for his toys!
